AVC-R custom install

Hey, I took a small video of my avcr install in my dash where the center vents used to be. Its at night so its dark. I'll take some day shots later. I also dismantled my boost gauge and surface mounted it from behind next to the avcr so I could get an "easy" lbs. view

Looks like a good mounting spot. I want to see it in daylight too.

it does look pretty cool in there. I orginally was trying to make a mtorized cover to hide it when the car was off but it was getting way too complicated and I just needed to get it over with already so I just stuck it in there. I'll get some pics up tomorrow. I never have used the center vents. I always have it on "heat" so its doing the defrost and feet.

might have to look into relocating my gauges

Well I paid around 300 for it and its mainly to control boost. you can monitor up to 3 varibles at one time in it such as

boost of course
solenoide duty cycle
rpms
throttle possition
injector duty %

I think I'm missing one but at any rate I really wish it could display volts.

I've thought about motorized hidey mounts too, but the complexity seems like too much trouble. Good job, it still looks nice and clean in the daylight pics.

Thanks guys, it was actually a bitch because the front of the avcr is not straight it curves so its only touching in the center, the rest of the gap is filled in with epoxy lol. you cant really tell though.

It also used to be silver and i disomanteled it and painted it satin black
