yeah, i don't think we subaru enthusiasts dig mazdas too much. or should I say ford. ha ha.

also the alpine sport got the heated seats, heated mirrors and skid plate. i also think it has the under pass seat tray. some guy had one and brought it to my shop all the time he wont sell it. member the first time it came in the lot i ran outside a droped a nut. the owner thought i was crazy. i sold him alot of my spares though.

I know, a bit late to reply to this post but...
I've got a GX 2.2! It's a 1991 model and I think the GX's are for European market only, am I right? Correct me if I'm wrong. There are a few GX's here in Iceland but most of them are dying from rust, just like all old cars in Iceland. Not a good country to be a car in, they always rust!

What indicates that this is a turbo-like front end?

That's really too bad those ended up there. I bet they are both there due to their 4eat trans going out.

Too bad too, those Mi editions are kinda hard to find, and that GX is the first I've ever actually seen pictures of. I was beginning to wonder if Subaru ever had put them into production.

I was a bit skeptical when i saw it too, but it is a US market 2.2 GX. I have no clue as far as production #'s, but i'm sure it's rare. too bad it's collecting rust.
