abs brakes?

do we have them. i just bought my car and changed my insurance and they sent me back a rebate check and the reason for the rebate was it said no abs brakes. but i was driving around in the snow and just playing around with things and i had abs. so do you think it was added on by the previous owner? or is my insurance wrong.

Your insurance could be wrong. I personally dont know if it was a standard or an option, but my 92 Legacy Wagon has ABS. Look under the hood. On my wagon ABS is on the right hand side of the engine in front of air box. Snap a Pic, or bring car into Insurance to give them to get them to give you the discount.

Not all Legacies have ABS, but from what I've seen most LS's have ABS, and most L's don't.

I believe it's standard on the SS right? My 91 SS has ABS.

why would your insurance be cheaper without ABS? ABS, Alarms, Air Bags, are all considered safety/security features and usually carry a 10-15% discount.

MY insurance reflects those discounts.
