k so i went to best buy and tried to buy a dash kit for my brothers 94 legacy and they didn't have one in stock, but i checked other places and anywhere else said that they don't make them?
not quite sure what to do here
i have a volvo 850 turbo and the length of my head unit install was the wiring harness and a dash pocket
because my stock head unit was the exact size of two aftermarket head units, and it even has guide rails, so the aftermarket one just slips in! lol
i was wondering if a 94' legacy would be similar?
otherwise he's going to have a floppy head unit after christmas haha
thanks

It was 10 years ago, but I believe the head unit chassis secured with screws in stock holes and then I just slid the unit in or else I didn't use the slip-in chassis and secured the unit directly with screws to the stock brackets. At any rate, it fit the stock hardware. I filled the void underneath the stereo with a piece of painted plastic that screwed in behind the dash trim plate. I didn't bother with a harness.
