I love that transmission noise! Could also do without the scoop.

this car has been built up purely for drag racing in a street car class, i was having a play on that day the video was done on the track , the scoop is purely functional to feed the air to air top mount that i have fitted. there is also now a second (smaller) one fitted to feed air to the K&N air intake.

i saw and appreciated the second opening over the intake filter

that scoop just has a real bad rap, I heard it only went to production because the revision meeting about it was cancelled after 9/11 fallout flight cancellations

the road course was amazing/saddening because my car does NOT spin that smooth

have not heard that about that scoop, have seen one fitted to a 99 rsk b4 here as well , dont get that sort of information here in nz.
