Air suspension to strut/coil suspension, is it easy?
My 92 LS Wagon has air suspension and I think the compressor is shot cause I took out the relay and bridged the connection and it runs but doesnt raise the shag-wagon at all. So Im thinking the compressor is shot because it makes loud clanking noises. Anyhow, I am thinking about just changing out the air ride to a strut and coil suspension and not worry about my car going up at all cause its a really rough ride when the car is slammed to the ground. So how easy would it be to remove the compressor, lines, electrical, and the air struts? Has anyone done this before? Thx in advance.

Struts will bolt on. I, personally, would leave everything else in place and just remove the related fuses to kill the lights and compressor.

It is an easy conversion. Find a set of 90-94 struts from a wagon and it is a simple bolt on replacement. Note the position of the lower camber bolts on the front struts and you can even preserve your alignment.
I just did this on my 93. If your wagon has ABS be careful around the ABS wires, they are kind of fragile. Don't ask how I know
Only other advise is find someone to help you install the struts it is way easier if someone can run on the perch nuts on top while you hold the strut in place from the bottom.

I'd still highly recommend getting an alignment after you put the struts in, even if you keep the camber bolt close to where it was.
