I want to change the fuel filter, can someone tell me where it is
located? Is this job relatively easy on this car?

Where is the fuel fitler located in Turbo Legacy?
It is located pretty much right next to the drivers side (US Spec) strut tower. It's a little black canister looking thing. All you would need to do is relieve the fuel pressure, or as much as you can, loosen the rubber fuel lines from the filter (which sometimes are rather stubborn) and put the new filter in.

On both the Subarus i've done this on, leaving the car turned off
for at least an hour eliminated %90 of the fuel pressure. The
hoses, as Josh mentioned, are a PITA to get off, but will
eventually succumb.
