yeah, she has the 07. i was going to give her this car and take it back, but I may be trading the VW for a porsche 928s. i will then obviously flip it, and hopefully find another worthy subie. or i'll buy a piece of shit BMW, give it to her and get the 07 back. i don't know.

Be careful with the 928—if there's anything even slightly substantial you need to end up fixing, you'll lose any potential profit (which is small since they're such under-appreciated cars) unless you practically steal the car to begin with.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
