Well I am in the process of converting my air suspension to traditional strut and spring suspension. Broke about 3 different tools trying to unbolt the front struts so far. Too many electrical and air lines to take out. I did notice one thing though with the air suspension. For some reason when I took both front air ride struts out, it looks like the bags are kinda sucked in. Why is this? YAY no more hehe
PS The sticky on the strut and spring installs was very helpful!
ok new update! I found out that the rear strut tops do not fit and I got to redrill new holes so the bolts on the top hat can go through the body of the car. They are off by 1/4" cause the air suspension top hats are smaller.

Have a 92 Leg Wagon awd, I was looking at the strut tops and I think they came off an outback. That might be my problem. Im going to check the differences between the two. Might need to get new stock strut tops. Anyone have an extra pair for the rear 90-94?

I did the same yesterday, and ended up cutting the nut off with my dremel and BEATING THE &^%* out of the bolt until it shot out of the hub/strut mount flying across the garage.
The only problem side for me was the Front PS, that bottom strut bolt was a total PITA. Wouldn't budge worth a damn.
Finally got it after some hammering and an extra set of hands shaking the hub around at the same time.
I decided to do the balljoints at the same time. I was pretty nervous I was going to break the bolt in the collar piece of the hub, but a lot of PB Blaster soaking, plus heating it with a torch got it out just fine thankfully.
