Odd sounds??

Ok. I have a 1993 leggy turbo and its just started to make these odd sounds. 1 of the sounds is a kinda thud clung and 2 sound is a odd knock some times? These sounds ONLY happen at idle in D. It makes some noise in N and P but makes much more in D. As soon as i hit the gas it GONE! Like totally!! And then sometimes returns? The noise is nothing really that bad yet, but its getting worst and more offten. Im thinking tensioner maybe. Or my turbo seeing, that it has been leaking for like a year now.... But yah its hard to pin point.

Possibly the torque converter. My car has a similar sound. But mine occurs more when I am driving. Also could be the vent actuators banging around too.

Well i do have the vent problem i know that. I have determined that it was all temp related. Seeing that i live in winterpeg manisnowba. The temp out side was around -40ish before wind chill was factored in. So -50 with wind chill, and the car still started! Unplug and plugged in! Leave it to Subaru to build a tough car.

Yes. These cars can handle anything. No need for a block heater
