I care to debate this quite a lot. the MOST important thing involved with
your car when racing is YOU, the driver. a good driver driving a slower car
will do much better then a crappy driver in a mega-HP car.
Hell, an average driver versus an average driver in identical cars, but one
has a better suspension; the one with the better suspension will do better.
Learning to drive stable and consistent is as important as driving fast if
not more so.

Next time, try a 2.0L that is built right, it'll go faster then the 2.2. The
only thing that makes the 2L less then the 2.2 is the displacement, which
the 2L makes up for in tunability.

Not too sure about this one. I'd consider myself to be a decent
enough driver, my old tercel beat out a civic Si in a street race and
i've got the video to prove it. But if you think that me being a
good or even great driver would have made that car keep up with say,
my friends wrx? I dont think so. Even with an auto tranny he could
absolutely wreck on my driving ability.

Are we talking about drag or street racing or like circuit or rally
racing? Yeah a suspension will help in a twisty race, but when your
talking about dragging AWD cars, the advantage is just going to go to
the car with less weight. Wheel hop and stuff like that isnt an
issue with these cars.

Which is why the best car that subaru has ever built (the 22B) is
based on the 2.2L. Think about it man, if we listened to your
reasons we should all like honda/acura cause they are easy to tune,
and make up for what they lack from the factory. That's all
bullshit. You start with a better car, you end up with a better
car.
