What is a reasonable price for a used 3.90 VLSD in good condition? I am looking for one to replace the open rear diff in a 93 Legacy Turbo 4EAT. The FD on the 93 Legacy Turbo is also a 3.90 but it is an open diff, correct? Thanks for your help,
Bez
1991 Legacy Turbo 3.90 VLSD

As a reference I paid $450 for a 4EAT, drive line, TC, TCU, all 4 axles, and 3.90 VLSD in July '07. There was one for sale on the USMB site a couple months back for $250...don't know if he got that or not.
BTW, if you're interested in this, I know of one w/essentially the same complete setup that I bought in your area (Seattle). I want the 4EAT as a backup, since I don't know how long mine will last @ 14psi.
I'd be willing to sell the VLSD separate, if I get it....should know by tomorrow.
thanks

Yeah he was asking a ridiculous amount fort hat LSD a while back. I was interested in it but he wanted too much. $250 is too much. $150 sounds reasonable though. Good thing I didn't buy one though because I later found out they came on all the 91 turbos so little did I know I already had one! Yay!
