98 2.5L fuel rails on 91SS?

I just got back from my buddies subaru shop and they hooked me up with a full set of 98 2.5L legacy fuel rails with the red injectors. They said that they should work...I was a little hesitant since doing research on here and finding that the 92-94 N/A rails are the correct swap over for a 91 SS.

Can anybody confirm if the 98 2.5L rails would work on the 91 SS....I know that the STI 550cc injectors I have do fit in the 98 2.5L rails.

The rails will not work with an EJ22T intake manifold.

You will still need the EJ22 N/A rails.

Those rail are, however, what you would need to install STI injectors on an EJ20G intake manifold.

Just went out and got a set of the 92-94N/A rails without all of the hard lines under the manifold....hopefully that is all I needed.
