Okay, I'm looking at adding a Hallman boost controller (with boost
gauge, of course) and have read (on Dave's site) that its recommended
to "upgrade" to a 2.5-3" exhaust system. I've seen references to
several exhaust makers, but can someone recommend where I can
actually order (im in Washington, the State) the right stuff from a
company that will send the right parts? Necessary for the boost
increase or not, my stock pipe is starting to look a little ragged...
Or should I just go to my local muffler shop and say "gimme a 3-inch
pipe with the right amount of back-pressure for a 2.2H and a side of
fries?"
Thanks,
Ryan Douthit

Where to get exhaust system?
I would go to a few exhaust shops and get price quotes. I have found that they can vary wildly.Good luck, BillC

Where to get exhaust system?
I'm getting a custom pipe made by someone in Washington.
Based on the end result, we'll decide whether it will be
something that we'd like to make available to the community.
It should be reasonably affordable as well.
Plans are for: 2.5" mild-steel, twin-dump, catless with O2 bung.
Basically a bolt-in replacement, add cat downstream along with
upgraded system of at least 2.5".

Where to get exhaust system?
Excellent, sign me up for one of those. Is that the mysterious exhaust group-buy I’ve heard in passing over the last couple months? Do you think it’s likely we’ll see it anytime soon?

Where to get exhaust system?
This is a new thing, not related at all to any previous group buys.
If everything goes right, it could be for sale in a month.
