no, the map is fine. its the map from daves car. it wasn't running before we did different maps. i ran a log while i was cranking the motor over and noticed the fuel injectors pules and DC weren't doing anything, not firing. but the weird thing about it is the Link is its getting triggers. so the crank and cam sensors are working.

wiring issue or link problem?

hello.

can worn spark plugs cause hard starting when the engine is warm? there is something wrong with either my spark plug(s) or my coil(s). having slight misfire when my boost hits 14 psi. im currently in winter-modus, so im more useless than usual :/

Perhaps they are not gapped properly.

Yeah, I'd check the gap, and/or check for cracks in the porcelin of the plug.

thanks for your answers.

i have four NGK plugs, number is BKR6EVX. how big gap would you reccomend on these plugs, before i put them in my 92' EJ20g, with 14 psi peak boost?

I would not go any larger than 1.0 to 1.1 mm at the most for a gap.

cool.

considering the state my air/fuel/oil filter was in, i dont think plugs has been changed for good while either. because that job sucks compared to filter-change on the ej20.
