Need some piston math help

Post by 00imprezars »

Ok,
I'm looking at a set of wiseco pistons. The c/r is 8.5/1 but that's based on the legacy 42cc(?) heads I believe. I want to use wrx heads heads which are 48cc(?). So what will that lower the c/r of the piston with the higher volume heads?

P1xV1=P2xV2

or something like that...

ask Wiseco, or search.

Or if you've got the equipment, do the math yourself.

basically those are your choices. I have no idea what the answer is :P

It will lower the compression ratio. Going from 42 to 48 cc's.
