apologies....I'm kind of a newb at EJ-series clutch setups. wasn't planning on running one until a deal on a Liberty GX trans came up.....
basic setup:
'90 EJ22e.
stock CR
Eaton M62 supercharger
head/cam work
standalone
'93 Aussie Liberty GX tranny (cable clutch just like USDM legacies).
don't think I'll quite get there with this round (stock pulleys puts me at ~5psi), but I would like to have a clutch than could hold 200-225 hp/ft-lbs. I'm thinking a spec stage 1 would fit the bill nicely.....but I'm not sure. any other suggestions for good quality clutches that would hold my power desires, and still be comfortable for street use?
cable-type legacy clutch suggestions?

Try http://www.clutchnet.com/home.php . The nice thing about them is that you can order the parts seperately. And they're reasonably priced.
From what I understand, a stock pressure plate holds an upgraded friction disk fine with higher power output. Avoid non-sprung hubs for street use, though.

i had an excedy stage one with a light weight fly wheel on my svx, and it was stronger then the transmission, it out lasted 3 4.11 legacy 5-speeds, and is currently installed in my t-leg, on transmission number 4. still grips great, and i have abused the hell out of that clutch.
