jdm vs usdm pre-facelift fog lights section difference

The shape of the fogs section on the jdm and usdm are very different. Jdm is more boxy while usdm is more rounded. I think you still can put jdm fogs on usdm bumper, just might not look to good.

The fog light on the red usdm bumper is a autozone cheapo and not oem .

The pre facelift JDM cars had the turn signals in the corner lights, not under the bumper like the USDM cars. That is why there is a difference. One is setup for a turn signal, while the other is setup for a fog light.
