hey guys just new 2 this site, from new zealand and was reading on here and noticed yous use alot of tdo4s as upgrades for the rs's over here there a waste of time as we get the vf8 fitted 2 manual sedans and smaller vf10 fitted 2 the wagons, do the us model not have the vf8 and 10s?
we upgrade 2 a tdo5 here
just curious
also noticed no intercoolers,we got the 240hp model with waic
We got a EJ22 closed deck block. But the fun stops there.
SOHC heads, close to the EJ18/EJ22 ones you get. Tiny little VF11 turbo. 380cc min injectors. No intercooler.
TD04s are used alot because thats what we get on our WRXs and they are available cheap.

Not until 2002 when we (finally) got a WRX. Then we passed you all in 2004 when our STI came to us with a 2.5

They measure injectors a bit differently. I believe they use a different standard pressure.
They got the 440cc grey tops.
Also, I misstated ours as 380 in my above post.

whats a MAF?
Yeah, that's the ones I figured you had.
For some reason we call the grey tops 440s. And the yellow tops 480s. Nobody seems to know why. What pressure do you run your test stands at? There are a few threads on Nasioc about it.
