I think the stock spoiler off the SS is about as big as you would want to go on that car unless you totally changed the entire look and got a whole 4 piece body kit, hood, etc to go with it. You would basically end up with a stock WRX and have spent $5,000. So either get a WRX or stick with what you got or get an SS spoiler.

I don't think either would fit on the legacy.....very well that is.

Neither would fit well, and honestly, neither would look even remotely ok.

Even the Japanese and the Aussies don't put anything else on the trunklid.

Possibly an STi limited trunk lip... if it would fit... but not the biga$$ wing...

Booooo to the haters!

There was a picture in the multimedia gallery of a BC with a 05+ STi wing on it and I personally thought it looked good. It was a while back and if I recall correctly, it was black with a bunch of gold trim. The gold wasn't the best looking but I kinda like the wing. It definately changed the look of the car, but I thought it was good looking. It seemed to fit okay as well. I wish I could point you to the thread.

The point is, they made it fit and while it changed the look considerably - I thought it was cool. Definately not sleeperish and had a little bit of ricer-rony going on but with the right wheels and suspension I think it could work.

Meh, I feel a large wing like an STi wing looks out of place and makes the car look unbalanced. Add a large hoodscoop and it *may* look a little better.

An older boxy car like our Legacys just doesn't fit well with a large, sharp-edged wing like that of the STi. As far as my taste, I'm staying wingless on my car as the dark colored cars look really nice wingless. However, on white and silver cars, I prefer the look of the stock wing.

If I where to get an STI some of my first mods would be a wing delete, and either an FMIC or AWIC followed by a reversion to the scoopless Impreza hood.

I think they look cool, but I wouldn't be caught dead driving with a large wing/body kit!

Ew god no. I saw a picture on RSliberty, I think it was a joke, and it looked ridiculous. It's the complete wrong body style for it. Honestly I'm not sure it even fits on the STi, but I've been conditioned to like it on there. WRX wing maybe, but I highly doubt it.

I honestly think the stock spoiler is enough for this car. Unless you want to be jumping hills or course. Then I would have to go with the STI wing.

If I come across it I will, I don't know where I saw it, it was an avatar though, so it was just the rear end and very small.

Here's one. The white car in the center.

So yeah, my personal opinion is that a giant wing will NEVER go well on an early 90's Japanese nurse's car. Lol.

hmmm. the first one looks like a 2.5 RS spoiler. the second one actualy doesnt look to bad, but with the lights it kind of reminds me of an EVO and the 3rd is never even going to cross my mind.

Thanks for the pics

The second one wouldn't look as bad if it didn't have those lights and those ugly spoilers on the bottom of the bumper.

neither of the wings fit properly with the size of the leggy trunk anyway.... don't know hwo god can create such a thing of beauty as the legacy and then make people that will do such things to it like make it look redicilous with an STI wing.......makes me puke alittle everytime I see those pictures

It's ok guys. Think of these pictures as the types of pictures you'd see in Sex Ed. back in high school. Once you see a picture of a penis with gonorrhea, you'll do anything in your power to protect yours from getting it. Apply that lesson to your car. Now that you've seen these pictures, do anything you can to protect your car from it. Lol.
