Absolutely MINT '94 TW in WA - Spendy though

Post by zapjackson »

Went and looked at this '94 TW in Burien this morning cuz it caught my eye as I drove by. It is MINT. It has 102k on it and id buy it, but its rather spendy. If someone could talk them down or wait till they lower that price, its an amazing wagon.

Very clean. Would not pay that much for it. Maybe $3,500. It's a dealership right? Always rip you off. I have NEVER seen a good deal on a vehilce at a dealership and you never will. Unless you're in the market for a Ford Explorer or Excursion.

THIS IS NOT MINT. I CHECKED IT OUT IN PERSON AND HAD MY MECHANIC CHECK IT OUT ALSO. THEY ALREADY REPLACED THE FRONT AXLE, BUT IT HAS DRIVELINE ISSUES. ALSO HAS A DECENT LEAK IN THE REAR MAIN SEAL AND THE 2ND-3RD GEAR IS KINDA SLIPPY. PLUS THE PRICE IS TOO MUCH. THEY WOULDN'T GO MUCH LOWER ON THE PRICE.

Thanks for the heads up. Dealerships are shady places.

LOOKS very clean, i cant believe that they would show it off to be some crazy clean ss which would be nuts. but with the issues described above thats rediculous.. just goes to show you how untrustworthy most dealerships are.... sad

I think what you feel is how the trans does not lock up. My car is the same way, not sure if it is normal though? It is very annoying though, just tap the pedal though and the power light will come on and lock the torque converter.
