XT auto to manual SWAP.. help

any chance someone do an automatic to manual swap on an old XT?? i just need to figure out the wiring now.. the car runs and drives if i run a hot led to the starter.. but wont start with the original wiring like it did with the auto trans.. and when it first fires up the power light flashes a few times.. i couldnt find a tcu???

any info helps.. thanks!!

I assume you already read Legacy777's 5MT swap thread. Forget to wire up the Starter interlock relay or Neutral switch?

yup if read that.. this xt is quite a bit different than a legacy is all.. i figured out the start wire now i just need to figure out the neutral wire.. just send it to the clutch switch?? with relay? i just found a good book on it. now its just a matter of playing with it..

The neutral switch just gets tied into the ECU. It should have no effect on the starting.

There is a TCU, you need to pull that TCU. Ask over on the USMB. Someone over there should know where the TCU is.
