bad axle makes car slower?

hey guys for some reason if i have like 1 passenger the car goes way slower. When there are alot of passengers lol. Lets say i weigh 150 and my friend weighs like 170 should it slow you down that much? My passenger side axle does knock though and causes the steering wheel to shake under throttle. The tires are new and set at 35 front and 33 rear. Think it is just that axle ?

No, I doubt it's the axle.....it's the extra weight.

That sucks. Never thought it should be that much slower I guess
