WTB: FWD Axle

Post by strawman »

I am looking for a front wheel drive (two wheel drive) axle -- one of the big ones. I don't care if the boots are torn -- this is for an experiment, so it doesn't have to be pristine. If it is located in/near Sacramento, that would be even better. The axle shaft needs to be 1.13" in diameter measured mid-way between the CV joints. What ya got and how much shipped to 95618?

I've got one for ya. I'll check the diameter later when I get home. Its in good shape.

Shipping will be a bit much to CA though. How about $50 shipped?

Yeah, as long as the outside diameter of the axle shaft is correct (I've edited my original post -- the diameter should be 1.13" measured mid-way between the CV joints). PM me with the results of your measurement check and provide your Paypal address.

The battery in my digital calipers is dead and the manual measurements aren't that precise, but it looks to be just a hair over an inch in diameter. It's just a standard FWD Legacy axle, most likely not stock. Let me know if you're still interested and I can pull it and have it right out to you.
