Throttle body

Post by georgerbyrne »

Nope, just be gentle with the existing one and it should be fine.
If your removing it to do that throttle body mod, i can definately
reccomend it. It made my EJ22 Naturally Aspirated engine much
smoother throughout the rev range and also gave it a little more
power at high RPM.

Throttle body

Post by milehial2000 »

Hey Josh, Just installed my "new" throttle body and it appears to work
I think what is happening is that without the "GOOP" as Larry calls
it to much air is getting past the throttle plate and the IAC valve
just can't compensate for it. Why ??
