Power light blinking on start

I could not find any solid information on this.

Upon starting the car the power light in a 90 legacy LS automatic blinks.. 16 times if I remember correctly.

I cannot find any information on what problem the transmission may have. I am assuming the power light is working as my idiot light for the tranny.

Are there tranny error codes for this or a connector that will work the same way when checking ECU codes ?

You need to read the codes in the TCU.

I have the same problem and followed Josh's steps but the TCU wont give me any flashes. Whats up?
