Have fun! Once you get the KYBs and Whiteine lowering springs on, you'll LOVE the way the car handles. I went from a car with 150,000 mile stock struts and springs to almost that same setup and it was like night and day!

I actually got pulled over by a cop the second day I had them on. Didn't give me a ticket, but he did say that I took the corner excessively fast and that I needed to slow down haha.

And have fun with the intercooler! It'll take some fabricating if you still have the VF11, but it'll totally be worth it!

Be sure to post up pics of the finished project ;)

+1 If you've got a 90* outlet turbo, it's so much simpler...

What tophats did you order? STI Group N?

You find a whiteline dealer in the US that either already has some stuff in stock, or you have them order it and shipped from Australia.

Got my Whiteline Springs from GlobalPerformance.com . very quick service!

Tops hats I went with standard 98 Imprezza RS Front(ended up getting GC springs for the front), 93 SS Back tophats. I poked around the Group-N websight a bit but only found Solid mounts. Not interested in race quality ride comfort I decided to go with "Stock performance" pieces.

Unfortunatly I have the stock VF11 Turbo on so I decided to hold off on installing the intercooler till I got a 90degree inlet turbo. Holding out for a td05 16g. Keeping my fingers crossed there.

It's not the 90 degree inlet that you have to worry about (you should already have that plumbed up), it's just figuring out the compressor outlet to intercooler plumbing. The VF11 has a 45 degree outlet and that's what makes it hard to plumb up.

That said, it is definitely doable. I, as have many other, have done it. You won't be disappointed. Plus, if/when you do go to another turbo, you'll have that much less work to do (it'll basically bolt right up).

good luck and have fun :D
