Holy crap. I wish I had the patience to fabricate things like that. That's awesome!

That looks sweet Mike. Was that well in the cargo area OEM or did you fabricate that also.

A co-worker came up with a likely solution to the huge air tank. Schedule 80 PVC pipe and fittings. I can assemble as many smaller tanks as neccisary for the volume I decide on. They can be mounted almost anywhere there is free space, and I can network them together with the polytube.

That fit right in the factory space in the back. That system was sweet! I had 4 10" subs, an 8" midbass, a 4"midrange and tweeter in each door. Alpaine deck, alpine EQ, audio control 4Xs set up in 4 way stereo mode, two batteries, two caps, two Ref500's and a Ref 404s totalling 1500 watts. It was pretty nice :) It was my demo car for my custom fabrication business.

Saw another site (A Halloween Haunting site, no less) that champions converting used propane cylinders for air storage use. They use the small ones for camping stoves and such.

Probably better than PVC.

The more I think about it, the more I am leaning towards placing the air storage in the front passenger side fenderwell. That would leave only the valveblock and the audio gear to put in the trunk.

On a roll....I found a '06 WRX spare. That gives me the area taken up by the utility tray back. Maybe enough area for amps and the digital pre-amp? We'll see.
