Hey guys, this has been bugging me lol. I got 4 new GR2's. Only did the rears and the car handles and drives so much different I love it. Anyway I noticed I forgot to take off the rubber part on the lower part of the strut that goes between the spring and strut (I did put the one that goes on the top near the top hat). Is it important?? I did clean everything and sprayed lithium grease before assembly, and there is no ride height or any noises. Should I continue to loose sleep over this?
Also how stupid would it be if I show up to a track with stock suspension (meaning stock components) but brand new gr2's? Like the car feels great and very very little body role with just rear struts. I am really curious what it will feel like with the front struts and a nice alignment. Now I am feeling some 16 or 17" rims actually.
Important to have rubber part between spring and perch ?

Are you talking about the rubber part that goes on the ends of the spring and decouples it from the strut mount?
I believe that's only there to keep it quiet but it may reduce wear on that the strut mount from the spring rubbing as well, I don't know.
Probably not a big deal.
