Nice! Is that yours? That must be a blast to drive. Nothing like light weight cars whatever the horsepower. Speaking of which, what's the engine running for power? I assume it's not stock with the deck supports for better cooling? Those are some big honking intake trumpets. What were those engines—900cc, 1100cc?

They're not very well known in the US. I don't even know much about them and I like the odd balls. I've only seen one at a vintage race. My kind of car though, except maybe for the rear engine, but I've never driven one so I can't say for sure.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

NSU TT. Aircooled engine, right?

I believe NSU was purchased by Audi many years ago. Who's got the real story on that lineage?

Well, on second look, there are quattros in the background, so I'm guessing this is an Audi museum or display of some kind.
