Photoshop of my car

Post by Slow Hatch »

Did a quick chop of what I want my car to look like if I keep it. Hard to photoshop something with only using the laptop fingerpad lol

Lol, kinda hard to get the wheel size right in photoshop. If I get those wheels they will be 17x8, probably a +35 offset with a 225 tire. Going to take some fender rolling/pulling and some camber, but I think I'll be able to make it work

I decided to go with 17's eventually, so......good choice. 18" wheels are too big for the old leggies, I think.

I used 2006 WRX wheels/tires. 17x7 +55, in Bridgestone potenza RE92 215/45ZR17

I think 2005-2006 legacy GT wheels look great on them too.

A +35 offset will be too little, I think. I'm running 17x8's with a +48 offset and they don't hit the struts at all.. The tires are 235/40/17's.

Anyways, I think your car will look nice like that! Gonna tint the windows too?

I'm leaning towards the lower offset for the more flush look. I don't think i'd have any issues with the struts, just the fenders. And yes, 20% window tint, tickets here I come

I think I have 35% up front and 20% in the back of my metro. Something like that. I tried to tell the guy I wanted it 20% all around but he wouldn't let me do it. He said it's illegal and the cops carry light meters to ticket you.

I tried telling him I didn't care and they never pull you over around here for tinted windows but he wasn't buying it.

A friend of mine said if you want it tinted illegally you have to do it with no paperwork and no reciept. Wish I would have known that, I would have gone that route or taken my car elsewhere.

I didn't want anyone to be able to see into my car and see things they want to steal.

That's weird, the guys who did my windows did 20% all around for me, no questions asked lol.

Anyways, for wheels I'd still recommend getting the higher offset and then you can buy wheel spacers if needed. My wheels are damn near flush without any spacers at all, I even had to do some fender rolling.

Excuse the trunk monkey...

I think he said that he PhotoShopped the wheels on, so to know exactly what size they are would be hard to find.
