Impreza WRX
I know I am on perhaps the wrong website to ask this question but hey I have to give it a try:
I was offered a very clean 1995 Impreza WRX with 103,000 full service history, never hacked to messed about with, just a genuine straight clean car. Its white and it hasnt even got a stone chip on the hood.
I was offered this car for 4500 Euro's. Is it worth considering to purchase or is it a bag of trouble..?
Any assistance much appreciated..
Cheers
Paul

Yeah, Subarus didn't exist in the US until 2002.
It sounds like it was adult-owned and driven, well-maintained, and not beaten to within an inch of its life. Big plus.
Verify it though. Give it a thorough going-over anyway. Make sure the gearbox feels good, make sure the turbo boosts properly, make sure the tires are wearing evenly.
Stuff like that.

It's not as easy as a straight conversion due to relative economy unless you are talking about buying it there and importing it, but currently 1 euro=1.38 dollars according to Google.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

I think he was implying that nobody cared about them until then, a shot at the crooked-hat crowd.

Well here she is lads...not paid for yet but its more or less a done deal. Had a test drive in this beast today, tight as a nuns knickers, and in totally original condition, never had seen a ditch or a test track. What a serious bit of kit, I was stunned with the handling of this car out on the small country back roads here where I live. Have checked insurance and its not too bad, fully comprehensive at about 500 Euros ( less then $400) I think.
I am hoping to close the deal in the next few days....
Am I mad or what....

The Wife....
Well lads she will take it as being a signal that she may be getting some goodies herself...
You know what its like, they have a great way of making you feel guilty, however I still have some "browney" points left following her recent surprise...I bought her a minter E.36 Beemer, which i have to say she loves.
But I guess I will have to be prepared to top up my browney points if that WRX lands outside my door..
Watch that space guys...
