Exhaust shops charge out the ass for things IMO, anyone have the ~6" extension needed to adapt a catback off an STi laying around? Or can anyone make one?
I have friends that can do it, but it's such a PITA trying to get them to actually do anything, it might be easier to look elsewhere...

Well I was hoping for lless than $50 or so for everything, all the exhaust shops I know of charge about $90/hour though, and when I asked about getting a coffee cup mod made I was quoted over $200, and I forgot what I was quoted but putting a cat in my e30 was gonna be outrageous as well(for the welds not just the cat).kbeefy wrote:1 cut 2 welds. how much are you willing to pay for an extension?
Admittedly I haven't gotten a quote for this specific piece, I might tomorrow at a shop I actually know and trust.
EDIT: Buying a welder tomorrow, need a lot of things welded, might as well learn and save a few bucks.
