New Interior (kinda)

JDM WRX STi Seats and my Defi gauge install. w00t!

I bought the front and rear seats for only $300. Super awesome deal, if you ask me. And damn do they hold you into them! I've talked to plenty of people who have after-market seats and have had these seats and they say that these are just as good, if not better, than most after-market seats. Boy were they right!

The Defi gauges I installed were some that I picked up at a junk yard. I saw them, snatched them up and then walked to the clerk and asked how much he wanted for the 'crappy gauges' (lol) and he said, "Ummmm, $25?"

Naturally, I said, "I suppose." Hahaha.

I forgot to take a picture of it, but the Defi Control Unit is mounted in the DIN pocked under the radio. It's a nice, clean install if you ask me.

So which car are those seats out of and where do you get them? I like the look of my WRX seats but they seem like they're going to wear down fast on the bolster area. They also seem kinda flimsy on the bolsters. The foam moves side to side too easily I think. I haven't driven the car yet so I don't know for sure but that was just my impressions sitting in it.

I like the shape of those seats better but not so much the color, specifically the pinkish colored areas.

Other than that they look pretty sweet.

They're out of a JDM WRX. I believe they were in every year up to V7 (?). I got mine from UP Garage here in University Place. You can also find them on E-bay and NASIOC.

These are designed to hold you in, but still be comfortable. They are definitely better than ANY USDM Subaru seat in terms of "performance."

The color is definitely something to get used to. They're actually red, but the camera distorts that. I was thinking about getting them reupholstered, but I'm not sure if I actually want to spend the money on that.

Sweet, I've always wanted those seats. Keep the ugly pattern fabric for JDM cool points. It looks like you enjoyed them so much you peed a little.

Ahaha yeahhh. I need to shampoo them I think lol. They were from a wrecked car, so maybe the driver pissed himself. Although, maybe I'll leave it for the full JDM effect. I mean.....it's JDM urine, what could be cooler than that?!
