Reminds me of the thread I saw where the guy made his own hybrid custom clutch and he also did a similar thing with the pistons where he filed some sort of stupid marks in them with a handle file that was supposed to do something with the way it burned the A/F mixture or something.

He did custom everything to his engine it was unbelievable. In a bad way.

But hilarious too.

Hahahaha I also remember someone posting a link to a thread where a guy did a DIY port and polish to his intake, turbo, cylinders and exhaust by hooking up a 25 lb bag of sand to his intake and revving the engine to suck it all in hahahaha. I believe it was on a 2000 something Audi.

I found it! My searching was victorious over on the other forum.

This thread trumps the above one in epic fail! Go through all the pages, this guy just doesn't know when to stop!

Nevermind, after finding the thread again I saw it was custom combustion chambers on that heads that he did.

Check out this paintjob. Even painted the block to match the car...without removing the grease from it first!

Why bother removing the wiring first, paint over it!

While you're at it, paint over everything else too.

Check out the sweet JDM blue pedals.

I wonder why the paint looks so bubbly...

Hey guys, I've got a 98 1.8T. I've had a k04 and chip for a while and wanted to get more performance. I was recommended to port and polish the intake and exhaust. We found out they used abrasive material to do it like gritty sand. So I got with my friend that tunes Hondas and we decided to try it ourselves. We got a bag of sandblasting sand and hooked up into the intake and started the car. We had to hold the gas so it would run. He wanted to let the engine suck in the sand through the intake so it would port it out and then push it out the ehxaust so it would port the exhaust manifold.
I was worried that it might cause problems but he figured it'd be OK as long as we didn't make boost and it get sucked in the turbo. After running the car and letting it suck in sand we got about half way through a 25 lb bag. The check engine light was on and the engine was bucking and kicking and sounding really weird. We stopped and hooked the car back up normal and took off the sand supply. We tried to start it again and it was really hard. Once started it couldn't idle and kept making weird noises. We took it out and drove it and it started to make scraping and knocking noises.
Help! Can anyone tell me what to do! My buddy only does Hondas so he doesn't know much about Audis.

The thing that killed me is he said his friend knows Hondas and not Audis. If you put sand threw any motor. The end result will be the same. Should have used baking soda :-D

I heard diesel motors make more torque. Do you think if I put diesel in my gas tank. Will my engine make more torque?

Maybe that is the reason diesel nozzle don't fit in the filler hole or not supposed to.

Just thought of that because some guy thought his VW took diesel because it was a VW. He made it a quarter mile down the road and the motor just smoked and died. Funny stuff.
