Yazmo--The Autronic version I am using is the SMC. It is still working fine. PDX Tuning in Portland Oregon installed and tuned it. Surgeline Tuning took over operations(acuired) at the PDX Tuning site. Their lead technician/fabricator is still there.
Cost--ask a dealer, or search New Zealand and Austrailian forums for the price of a used one.
Mods--3" TBE, 440cc injectors, 255lph fuel pump, vf-12 turbo, '06WRX TMIC.

these are little pricy http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=37971
They are not cheap. I'd recommend the Link G4 over the Autronic. The Link will allow you to keep all the functionality.

Yes the Link G4 is capable of controlling all of the stock sensors. The only exception to this is that the G4 Storm does not have a knock sensor input. The Xtreme does have two knock sensor inputs, and the stock sensor can be used.

He means that you can use every factory sensor, solenoid, actuator, or whatever. That was Josh's constraint on a standalone.
If you wanted to do it cheaper, you could get the G4 Storm, and a Turbo XS Knocklight. It should save you about $600-700, and you'd have most of the functionality. You do get what you pay for, though. I wanted the full meal deal so I could easily grow with the setup and possibly run it on a totally different motor if I ever decided to get out of Subarus. At the time, the standard Link wasn't close the the Plus.
