clutch cover part number confirmation...

Post by Numbchux »

was flipping through my parts quick reference book, and found something crazy. XT6 and 91-94 legacy turbo's have the same part number listed for the clutch cover: 30210aa100

I googled it, and found mostly XT6 references, but I did find a post on scoobynet listing that part number for an EJ207:
http://www.scoobynet.com/archive/index. ... 95498.html

any truth to this? if they truly are the same.....this could open up a world of possibilities for us old-gen guys!!

Page 181 of the t-leg parts manual shows the clutch pressure plate cover is 30210AA171. But when I put that in subaruparts.com it flips it to 30210AA261. Here's a link to the parts manual. Looks like clutch covers all start with 30210AA___.

Edited to fix link...

yea, I'm sure there are different part numbers from different sources over the years....

found a pdf of the parts book I have:
https://content.subarunet.com/snet/_con ... 064-67.pdf

I'm starting to think it's a typo :(

I see what you mean. The link I had was bad. I've edited the link above. When you get to Legacy777 post click on the zip link and download to get the document I was referring to. I hope that helps.

Yeah, no EA Subaru ever used a pull-style clutch, so the XT6 and Legacy Turbo can't use the same pressure plate.

Lurch has the correct part numbers.

I've just sent in a message to Subarunet pointing out the error.
