Even though I never drove it, I still miss the 79 wagon I attempted to restore. It still had a lot of life left in it despite its off-roading history, and I continue to hope that its new owner has followed in my footsteps and not stripped it for parts.
That was back when Subaru made tank cars that were hopelessly slow, but indestructible, and somehow ten times more fun than the scrotemobiles they're making now.
