installing my megan downpipe..

Post by LookAsubie »

ok so im
just really frustrated right now.

trying to install my megan racing catless downpipe.
Should be an easy job i thought. me and my cousin were taking the stock one of when he got called in to work.. so im stuck here trying to do all this sh** by myself and im getting very pissed off.

also may i add that it is now raining.. how sweet.

I've got the downpipe just about in place but its like an inch or 2 too long!
also its a 3" downpipe that im just hooking up to my stock catback for now til i get a 3" catless catback made like tomorrow hopefully.

so for now it might be a little ghetto but i dont care.

i have a rubber mallet jammed in there against my muffler and part of the frame to try to push the catback back a little ways so i can get the downpipe to fit. i seriously have the holes on the flanges to about an inch apart but i am having a difficult time by myself. my arms, shorts and white shirt are covered in dirt, grease, and Sh**.
anyways just felt like i needed a break to vent. lol.

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas for me?

Take off the stock exhaust. Fit the new DP. Put in ear plugs. Drive to the exhaust shop. That is what I would do.

yup. we tried and tried in the pouring ass rain to get the stock catback to fit up to it.. wouldnt work.

so we just took off the stock catback. left it with just downpipe for the night. taking her to an exhaust shop tomorrow to have a catback made.
