BOV ???

Post by 92legacyss »

So i am putting a TD04, 02 WRX TMIC and a atmos. BOV, does anyone have pics of the TMIC with a BOV on our cars. i was just curious if the only reason we cant use a WRX OEM BPV is because of the recirc hitting the throttle/ cruise control cable? Thanks

Here's an OEM by-pass valve being used with a WRX intercooler. It's an install I did for a friend and it used a home-made adapter plate to connect the BPV hose to the TMIC. It's an '06-'07 intercooler, but it would be the same setup as the earlier ones.

And yet another image of the stock BPV with a 07 WRX TMIC. It's close to the throttle cables, but they do clear w/o interference.
