FS/WTT: TurboXS FMIC kit (brand new!)

Post by dropdfocus »

I'm putting up for sale/trade my brand new TurboXS FMIC kit. I plan on running more AutoX days than full out track days now and I'd like to have quicker spool & low end power instead of crazy top end power for track staight-aways.

I picked this up from the owner of Slowboy Racing. This kit is S/S and was designed to be nearly indestructible for the rally guys. I'm told it fits '02-'07 Impreazas and should allow the stock fog lights to remain in their factory location. I never installed this or even mocked it up to the car. The pipes still sit in the box the were shipped in and I wrapped the intercooler core with cardboard to avoid any damage to the fins.

Here's what I'm looking for: a good condition (nearly new if at all possible) high flow TMIC to put in place of my '06-'07 WRX top mount. I want to see pictures of what you have to offer before I consider any type of trade. If someone really wants to buy this out right, I will not take anything less than $565 (PayPal + 3.5% or Postal Money Order). BTW, with either a sale or a trade, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping to you.

If you want to try and offer me some piece of crap eBay TMIC, don't waste your time or mine. I'm not trading for some no-name intercooler. I'm selling a good name brand product so don't lowball me with junk. Thanks!

Is this the kit that was being sold a while back that was supposed to fit our cars? I thought I saw this kit being sold probably here and it was made to fit our cars?

No, it was designed to fit the '02-'07 Impreza WRX/STi. The bumper beam design is different between the 1st Gen Leggy and the Imprezas, so cutting is involved. I'd rather stay with the "stealth" look and enjoy myself at local AutoX events than break down many miles away at a $400 track day event.
