The rally car you saw at the TO show is now the rally car we race! (DBR
Rallysport) They were very optimistic with that figure - maybe without the
restrictor it was possible.
We run a much better MBC, but the trick around the fuel cut off is to run
two MBC's. One for engine, one to "trick" the ECU into thinking it was only
hitting 10 psi. They were running straight C116 (Leaded race fuel) and
would routinely crank up the boost well past 17 psi.
We don't have the budget for engine rebuilds, or for running 100% race fuel,
so we are much easier on the boost - except for last race. With the 32 mm
restrictor, my slightly modified GL-10 Turbo wagon feels like it would spank
it.

Old legacy rally car in TO show
so where exactly do you put the mbc that "tricks" the ecu? i think i
have an idea but i wouldn't want to do any damage and i trust you'd
know better than i.
