Group A Supercharger Kit

Post by kimokalihi »

Looks like Group A is about to start selling a new supercharger kit for N/A subarus with MAP based engines.
Right now the kits will only fit a MAP based 2.x NA Subaru engine. MAF based kits will be ready next followed by the kits that will fit the newer 2.5i engines.

If you own an 04 with the plastic manifold please be aware that you will have to replace the manifold with an aluminum one. Ask us about this as we have some spares in our shop if you are needing one.

The cost of the kit is $3850.00 CND (Plus shipping)

Yeah, I bought all 3 lightweight pulleys from them and their shortshifter. Quality products.

I thought about buying the dog bone but I just can't justify the price right now.

I probably won't be using the lightweight pulleys because I've been told there will be problems with the engine if I run them with the lightweight flywheel.

So they may be up for sale once my car is running, we'll see.

That definatly is sweet...
But for that price I would go out and buy a legacy ss
a na motor can only take so much boost before it goes out

I have looked in both turbos and superchargers for my legacy but in the end I would just be better off doing a motor swap or just plain out getting a factory turbo car, it would be cheaper in the long run

to much to list....

Plus, it actually doesn't make THAT much power. Makes a little more than a stock WRX, though. And they're torquey as Hell, still, buying an SS and slapping a TD05 on it would be cheaper and yield you more power.
