-------------------------------------------------------------
This project started because my wifes dd, 90 corolla GTS, tranny went to heck....

So sold that car and my autoX tires and wheels.

Found an awesome deal on a 92 SS Legacy turbo!!

Image

when i test drove it.....power was ok, but the clutch pedal was loose, and stuck once in a while. interior smelled like smoke, but never stalled.

got it home and started looking at some things under the hood and the nuder the car:

Image

some missing vac parts

Image

but this one takes the cake:

Image

missing prop shaft!

Image

those are some really crap fuel filler neck hoses and fuel fume return lines. got some replacement hoses from the pull a part, $5 win!

found out why the prop shaft was not installed, center diff was toast! tried to turn into parking stall, and the car bucked like a bronco!

Your car is pretty similar to mine. Same color...same seats...same wheels (for now)...maybe that's it lol!

That being said, nice car! :D
