Hey guys it has been a long ass time since I have posted. I actually had to really think what my log in/password was. Things have been crazy here in Quincy, getting married in April and the old legacy is on it's way out for me I think. I am waiting on hearing from an interview I had with Roger Williams Zoo in Providence that pays very well (19+ an hour) and if that happens I plan on buying a newer car sometime soon. My main question is my 93 Legacy L has some issues and I am attempting to figure out what is the best way to unload it. Trading it in is out of the question (I may get 100-200 bucks for it), I could donate it but I am not sure if I would get enough for a good tax write off. Selling it I'm not sure what it's worth, here's the specs.
93 Legacy L (Blue), 170K+, AT, sony xplod cd it runs and drives quite well but it has a few problem areas. Needs Front Valve cover gaskets (leaks some oil), struts are crappy(fine in 3 seasons, bangs in really cold weather), alignment, new tires, has rust in usual places, shifter gets stuck sometimes (have to use shift lock not a huge deal), front cv,
I have replaced front pads, rear pads/rotors, had some exhaust work done, front wheel bearings and a few other odds/ends that I need to go through my receipts to put on here. New rebuilt alternator, new battery
So I figured this would be the best place to figure out what would be a good selling point. Thanks for your help guys

Have you called about the deduction? Cocksucker MA doesn't allow charitable donations, but the Fed does. My accountant told me even $50 made a difference with me (though I'm a contractor, so I have a ton of write-offs). You might want to contact someone to find out. Otherwise, unless it looks terrible, I'd bet you could put it on craigslist for $600 and it would be gone pretty quick. You might even be able to go for $700, but that's getting up there psychologically to the bottom trollers.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
