Kartboy short shifter..

Hey guys im looking into buying one of these for my car when i get some money to spend.

i looked on the website and it only has them for like newer legacies and 02 and up wrxs and sti's.

Will either of these work for my 92 leggy SS?

if not what do i have to do to make it fit?

any help is great.

I haven't looked at it but if it fits the newer imprezas it will NOT fit our legacys. The shift linkage is too narrow for the later impreza 02+ I think shifters. I have a group A shortshifter and I ran into this problem.

You have to use a WRX shift linkage with the wider shift linkage.

is it much work? putting in the wrx linkage and everything?

The hardest part is replacing the u-joint on the transmission and getting to all the bolts/nuts under the car.

It looks like a bitch to do with the tranny in the car. I did it while the tranny was out and sitting on a table so it was pretty easy. But it wouldn't be that easy in the car, not even close.
