SOLD 2009-10-26

Selling my Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X659 deck. Got a new car with a newer deck, so no need for this one. I've got the original box, manuals, cables, remote, and faceplate.

Make a reasonable offer.

Description:

There's so much to like about the Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X659 CD receiver, you'll have a hard time choosing your favorite feature. In addition to playing standard audio CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs, it's MP3-compatible — burn a disc with up to ten hours of your favorite MP3 music files and bring it on the road with you. All your discs will sound great, thanks to the 22 watts RMS (50 peak) of clean Kenwood power. And then there's the dazzling, multicolor 3D-FL display, which adds flair to your dash with impressive 3-color graphics.

You'll get plenty of control over the texture of your sound, too. System Q EX not only features 3 bands of parametric EQ, it lets you choose from 6 adjustable preset EQ curves and 3 speaker size settings — you'll get your music sounding exactly the way you want it. You can use the high- and low-pass filters of the System E's+ Advanced Crossover to get more volume and clarity from all your vehicle's speakers, whether you're using the receiver's built-in amp or the 4.5-volt front, rear, and subwoofer preamp outputs.

Ready for more? There's also an auxiliary input that lets you plug in a portable MP3, tape, or MiniDisc player — or any outboard audio source! Changer controls make adding a Kenwood CD changer a snap. Or, if you'd prefer to experience 21st century radio, you can control a Sirius Satellite Radio tuner from the front panel (antenna and subscription also required). Sirius offers 100 channels of coast-to-coast, digital quality music, news, sports, and entertainment for $12.95 per month.
