transmission seal leak

Post by chochocho »

looks like i got a pretty major transmission seal leak on my 5 speed.

would it make sense to just have the shop replace the clutch and flywheel if they have to drop the transmission?

thanks in advance.

would changing out the transmission seal include dropping the transmission?

The tranny has more then one seal. If it's the front front seal you will. The other ones you can get to why it's in the car but it's easier to do it out of the car. To answer your question yes you will.
