EJ22 2.35 stroker vs 2.2

Post by tturnpaw »

My other question is, I have a complete EJ25D and an EJ22t with a broken keyway on the crank. I do know that i can use the ej25 crank and rods (or buy aftermarket ones) and use a custom piston to create a 2.35 stroker. Is it really worth it? How many people like it that run it?

So the question is, since the keyway is broken on the 22t, should i just get another crank and rebuild while im at it, or throw some money down for the 2.35 kit, or run the complete 25d?

Obviously, ill be using the 25d heads on anything im putting together. Thanks guys for your inputs!

I can't speak as one of the owners who drive a 2.35 and love it, as mines not assembled.
That being said, if you DO decide to go that route, i have the crank, rods, bearings and pistons/rings you'd need.
EJ25 NA crank, EJ25 NA rods, Wiseco .040" over 2.35 stroker pistons/rings, and ACL 48mm bearings. Let me knw if you need.

I have everything thanks. Im just looking for opinions. I know there are vehicles that arent worth stroking for the power, because they can make that power without it, and the stroking is almost sketchy in the same sense.
