Difference beetwen WRX exhaust manifold and ours?

Post by Blackbart »

Is there a difference between the WRX exhaust manifold and the ej22t's?
Or are they interchangeable?

I don't think there is much of a difference.

FWIW, I have a WRX manifold on my SS. Bolted right up to the heads and the factory UP.

There may be some minor differences, however it'll work just fine.

I just switched from to a WRX one on Saturday because mine was getting pretty rusty/trashed. After taking a good look at the two next to each other, but without measuring anything, they look the same. As far as fitment goes they fit the same.

The uppipe on the legacy SS seemed to have a smaller inner diameter than a stock STi one we compared it to FWIW.

Your link takes you to some random exhaust page. As far as a new manifold goes, anything from a 02-07 wrx will be fine.
